About Me

My photo
Publius Cornelius Scipio Aemilianus Africanus Numantinus
Salve, my name is considered quite long, only six names! It is Publius Cornelius Scipio Aemilianus Africanus Numantinus. I became famous because I was the individual who commanded the final seige of Carthage. I ordered to have everyone captured sold into slavery. And to have the fields sown with salt to make them infertile. I was a very significant figure in Roman history because I was Consul more times than I have names. Yes, I have been consul seven times and I have also been censor. I am often confused with my adopted grandfather, Publius Cornelius Scipio Africanus; the defeater of the great Carthaginian general Hannibal.
